The English Ministry has a variety of cell groups that meet throughout the week or month at different times for fellowship, bible study, small group discussion, prayer, and worship. It's a time to laugh, learn, share, and support one another. Basically, we just feel that it's important to hang out together outside of regular Sunday service time. There are groups for people of different ages, needs and interests. Take a look and see which one may be right for you.
We are the high school fellowship for students from Grade 9 to Grade 12. We get together each week to worship, have a program, and pray together. Some of our programs include bible study, learning about leadership and teamwork, and discussing current issues.
We are made up of college and career folks and look forward to welcoming new faces from the neighbourhood! We have times of sharing, worship and recreational activities such as ping pong, going out for a meal together, skating, or watching movies. We also look forward to planning a spiritual retreat this spring. Through meeting this way each week, we hope that together we will fulfill the following goals: to help each other understand their unique gifts and calling, to grow in our depth of commitment and love for Jesus, and to encourage each other as friends to have victory over sin and spiritual pitfalls. Currently we are going through the book: "Redefining
Life: My Career".
Just follow the noise....the Worship Team is devoted to making a joyful noise to our Lord! We meet every week to practice music to worship our Lord for the upcoming Sunday service. Practice is followed by a devotion and sharing time. Interested in worshipping through music? If you want to hang out, jam, or just worship with us, come join us on Friday nights.
We're a group of 20/30-somethings who gather to discuss, share, and encourage in Christ. Sometimes, sock monkeys are involved, but always great food and fellowship.
We welcome families with young kids, who are interested in learning more about growing as a family in a Christian environment. Sometimes we watch Christian educational videos followed by discussion time, and in the summer, we like to do more fun things like having pool parties. From time to time, we also invite guest speakers to join us to talk about different family topics such as how to educate your children.
