Prayer Requests & Praise Items

Praying for People:

· Pastor Jeff's father recently had a heart attack and surgery, but he is doing well and back at home. Please pray for his continuing recovery.

· Pray for Edwin and Jennifer as they are expecting their first child in August. Also for Ed who has completed another exam, please pray for successful results.

· Please pray for the Lord's wisdom and guidance for Matthew who has decided to join the Canadian Armed Forces.

· Miss Maisie Wong passed away on May 11th. Please keep the Wong family in prayer through this difficult time.

· Pray for the highschool students who will be going thru exams in the coming month.

· Pray for Frank who is dealing with issues about his home renovation.

· Praise for the time of fellowship that the Community cell group enjoyed with friends at the Blue Jays game

Praying for TCMC

· Pray for the Wolverleight Street Festival we are organizing and the opportunity to reach out to our community

· Pray for all the small groups and fellowships. That we may continue to encourage and grow together spiritually.

· Pray that we will raise up servants in the English ministry who are willing to serve in needed ministry areas. Praise for the youth fellowship and the opportunities to mentor to our younger members

· Pray for personnel commitee and potential candidates as TCMC continues our pastoral search for the Mandarin ministry. May God continue to bless us and join us with people who will lead us in His ministry.

· Pray for clarity of communication between congregations, lay leaders, and new pastoral leaders

· Pray for leaders to intentionally put effort in keeping unity within TCMC

· Pray for the wise use and management of finances to honour Christ in our ministries

· Pray that God will bring more brothers and sisters to TCMC to worship and serve Him

· Pray for the Mandarin ministry at TCMC. Pray that God can reach out to those that come each month to the gatherings through the programs, sharing, and fellowship time.

· Pray for the church deficit and the financial needs of TCMC.

· Guidance and patience for members of our congregation who are trying to share their faith with non-Christian parents.

Praying for our community

· Pray for the Global Day of Prayer event happening on June 4th as people all over the world come together in worship and prayer.

· Pray for our neighbours in the East York community and that God will give TCMC opportunities to get to know our neighbours.
